The Belle Crossing and Belle Court residential developments were planned by Steve Daniels, an Enid native currently living in Edmond, Oklahoma.  Belle Crossing is located on 40 acres on the southwest corner of Cleveland and Purdue and connects to the Willow West development. 

History behind the name "Belle".

Daniels' two grandmothers shared the same middle name, "Belle".  One grandmother, Mary Belle McClane, lived on the property from the 1930's to the 1980's.  She taught Braille at the Enid State School and worked endless hours on the farm.  His other grandmother, Anna Belle Daniels, was the mother of eight children and saw an opportunity to laugh in every conversation.  Daniels wanted to honor the names and history of two important women in his family and create a development whose charm and beauty will make her Enid's favorite.

Belle Crossing and Belle Court will provide the City of Enid with ninety-seven (97) attractive home sites.  Belle Crossing consists of seventy-one (71) lots which are situated on about thirty-five (35) acres.  The lots vary in size, but are approximately 1/3 of an acre.  We plan for homes in Belle Crossing to range from 2400 square feet to 4000 square feet.  Belle Court is located on about five acres at the corner of Cleveland and Purdue and consists of twenty-six (26) smaller lots.  Phase I will contain seventeen (17) of the larger lots.  We plan two beautifully landscaped entrances to the neighborhood along with winding streets and four cul-de-sacs.   Our goal is to provide each resident a wonderful and welcoming experience every time they drive home.

Daniels is joined by three other members in Belle Crossing Developers, LLC, including Scott Keck of Tulsa, Terry Enos of Oklahoma City and Cleve Stubblefield of Tulsa.
